衛福部澄清過,會造成草酸鈣結石的主因,是因為高草酸血症的緣故,對於有這類問題的族群,反而要同時攝取鈣質,提高草酸和鈣離子在腸道結合的機會以減少草酸的吸收,降低草酸鈣結石的風險。一般草酸鈣會隨著糞便排出,不會因此形成腎結石。
