📈 台灣 4 月下旬～5/10 的每百萬人確診數曲線，與加拿大 2021 年 12 月中旬～1 月初的狀況類似。根據加拿大 CBC News 2021/12/27 報導，當時快篩試劑需求大增，但快篩供貨不穩，時常完售，藥房拿到的貨也比叫的貨少。加拿大彭博商業新聞台也在 2022 年 1 月初報導各種快篩亂象，如高價私售快篩等（合法通路每隻快篩 10 加幣，私售者可至每隻 40 加幣）。報導內容也與網路上溫哥華居民的染疫經驗分享一致。
