眼科醫師表示這是錯誤的視力檢測方式，不能以此判斷近視或散光的狀況。一般簡易的視力表，同樣的一行，你上下能看清，但是左右的位置看不清，或者左右能看清，上下看不清，就表示散光的可能性大。但如果上下左右中間都看不清，那麼就有可能是近視或者遠視，這都需要配合進一步的詳細檢查。
