指揮中心指出，衛生單位已針對案889住院病房及相關區域進行環境清消，並調整高風險範圍，針對自1月6日起曾入住相關區域病房病患，均由自主健康管理改列居家隔離(含陪病者)，並安排採檢。5000人指的是擴大隔離接觸者，並非5000人染疫。
