高雄危險地帶屬於轉傳訊息的評論，高雄市衛生局指出，該名個案入境前即有發燒及上呼吸道等症狀，並在大陸就醫服藥；1月21日入境時，個案因服藥退燒未被機場發燒篩檢站攔檢，也未主動向檢疫人員告知有症狀及武漢活動史，就搭乘捷運返回住家，但在搭乘大眾交通工具的過程中，都有配戴口罩。
