農委會防檢局副局長徐榮彬說，有感染，就不可能會寫弱陽性，主管機關要再做確認，這種好像有、又好像沒有的資訊，會造成各界認知錯亂，對寵物也不好，必須複驗、觀察有沒有發病，這樣的資訊科學上不能採信，況且也沒有經科學確認狗會感染的報告發表。
