根據報載，這應該是南投縣長林明溱所傳的消息：確實有這個「繪本」但並不是「國小教材」，由美國肉類出口協會駐華辦事處在 2012 年 12 月出版的。錯誤之處是這繪本並不是由台灣政府所出版，也不是民進黨執政時期所出版。
