根據外交部掌握的資訊，泰方新制是全球一體適用的標準作業程序，並非僅針對臺灣，也沒有對申辦簽證國人所提供的財力設限；另泰方並未要求相關財力證明必須經由金融機關認證，國人可提供載有申請人姓名的存摺首頁及餘額頁影本作為證明。國人倘是委託旅行社辦理簽證，則可透過旅行社提出保證，而免附財力證明文件。
