昨天23日下午近3點時，位於高雄市彌陀區的塑膠廢料回收廠，發生火警延燒10多個小時，直到24日凌晨近2點，才完全撲滅火勢。由於現場有雜物與大批塑膠廢粒，火勢一發不可收拾，滾滾濃煙相當驚人。濃煙一路向北飄至台南、嘉義，造成PM2.5空汙。 由高雄市環保局稽查人員指出，當時彌陀區風向吹南風、才造成塑膠粒燃燒後持續產生濃煙，不僅影響範圍包括彌陀、橋頭、岡山、路竹等地區。也持續向北擴散，濃煙飄到台南。空氣
