警察局定於4月20,21,22日上午8－12時及4月25,26,27日下午14－18時全市同步執行「砂石（大型）車交通違規大執法」。
取締項目：超載（29）,貨物滲漏（30）,超速（40）,闖紅燈及紅燈右轉（53）及違反管制規定（60條2項）。
即日起請各所，交通分隊加強上述大型車輛違規取締，爭取績效。

警方過去曾表示，將持續觀察事故及車流變化情形，並規劃機動式測速照相、交通檢查、巡邏、攔檢的等複式勤務，防範交通事故。至於2022 年4月下旬，並非全國的執法活動。
