桃園市政府於8月3日公告登革熱防疫措施，呼籲民眾配合清除家戶內外積水容器與積水處等孳生源，如未主動妥善管理、清除積水容器及積水處，導致孳生病媒蚊幼蟲，經查核發現，將依傳染病防治法開罰3千元到1萬5千元罰鍰；市民除應主動清除孳生源外，也應配合衛生局及相關局處進行疫情調查、化學防治噴藥作業、隔離等防疫措施，如拒絕、規避或妨礙防疫工作者，依法可處6萬到30萬元罰鍰。
