新加坡政府1日在議會提交了首條關於「網路假消息與惡意操控」的法案，未來若民眾在網路上散布假消息，經確定罪行後，最高可被判處10年有期徒刑、罰款10萬新幣，約合台幣231萬元；另外，若有網路平台不配合當局，最多也可罰100萬新幣，約合台幣2316萬元。
