行政院已經完成社交熱點App的技術開發，不僅可告知人潮聚集狀況、警示社交距離過近，還可記錄接觸史，日後若發生確診個案，能得知是否與確診個案接觸過。這款APP主要是提醒民眾保護自己，不會調查使用者足跡，資料皆以加密方式存在民眾手機，不會上傳，且是否安裝都看民眾意願，盡可能降低侵犯隱私的疑慮。
