台灣血液基金會發言人黎蕾強調，週刊媒體報導所稱疑似輸血感染事件已經證實是虛驚一場，該名輸血患者經檢驗結果是陰性，並未受到感染愛滋病毒，並強調提供受血的血液一定都是經過檢驗確定合格，否則就會擋下來。
