刑事局證實「+675」為是來自「巴布亞紐幾內亞」的境外來電，並發佈預警，提醒冒然回撥可能會被以「國際電話費率」計算，負擔高額電信費用，目前國內雖無被害案例，刑事局仍先將這些異常跨國號碼通知給電信業者，要求列入國際電話攔阻名單，以防範詐騙問題發生。
