最近網路上盛傳一則消息，內容主要是：「每天在刷牙時使用的牙膏要嚴選！請大家買牙膏的時候要多留心，注意牙膏管反面底部的顏色條，綠、藍、紅、黑的4種色條，原來有不同的含意啊！」 文中說明購買牙膏時，盡量選擇綠色或藍色，因為代表著牙膏內製造的成分來源不一樣。綠色表示為純天然，藍色則是天然與藥物混合，而紅色是部份天然與部份化學成份結合，至於黑色則是純化學製造出來的。文末還提到國内的兒童牙膏
