酒駕者重新考領駕照，應申請登記配備有酒精鎖汽車後，始發給駕照；若不依規定駕駛具有酒精鎖車輛，處 6 萬以上 12 萬以下罰鍰。
依照道路交通管理處罰條例 §35 第 4 項規定，酒駕拒測可罰 18 萬，且當場移置保管駕駛的汽車、機車、吊銷駕照，3 年內不得考領，以及強制駕駛人參加道安講習；如果再犯，將處前次罰鍰加18 萬（累計無上限），並吊銷駕照，5 年內不得考領。
