依道路交通管理處罰條例，若騎士看到陰影處任意減速，煞車在車道中，造成後車緊急煞車，或是臨停在距離路口，好幾公尺的陰影處，停等紅燈可處最高2萬４千元罰鍰，情節嚴重者，會則能當場禁止駕駛。
