「不需隔離或看診」並非事實，實際上 PAXLOVID 必須在醫囑之下使用，例如透過線上問診。如果患者有保險，依然會由保險支出，而非全部費用由聯邦政府買單。服務藥房並非無限量隨時可以檢測，需要事先預約與準時到場，並依照現場人員安排。
