日前立委江永昌出具一份針對2018年8大公股的員工離職率統計，發現30歲以下的年輕人離職率相當高，平均離職率竟然高達逼近5成，顯示行庫留不住年輕人。江永昌認為，沒有年輕人就沒有未來，他要求財政部須調查各行庫，年輕人離職的原因和去處，並提交報告。根據江永昌出具的數據顯示，八大公股行庫中，年輕人離職率以第一銀行達65.9%居冠，其次是台銀57.7%，第三是彰銀57.53%；離職率最低者，則是兆豐銀24

除了薪資外，年輕人還注重「培育計畫」和「職涯願景」，因行庫多卡在升遷慢，大家論資排輩，給人吃大鍋飯印象，缺乏績效導向的升遷計劃，也才讓「有志的熱血青年」不如歸去，轉戰民營銀行。
