中央流行疫情指揮中心指揮官陳時中表示，因口罩生產量有跟上來，新制從2020年4月9日起上路，小孩可買的片數，從7天5片改為14天10片；成人也從7天3片，改為14天9片。民眾購買可以不用每週排，而是2週排一次，量也比較多。原本買口罩會分單雙號不同天購買，但新制上路後，改為每天都可以買，購買量比較夠，也比較方便。
