此為2013年的實驗，當時農委會也發布新聞稿澄清 ，強調有例行針對牧場生乳進行藥物殘留檢測，均符合國家標準規定。針對《商周》在報導中提到牛乳檢出「代謝物」，農委會強調，乳牛為反芻動物，代謝途徑與產物相當複雜，與一般單胃動物(包括人類)不同，也可能因攝食雜草導致體內含有微量的無害代謝物，因此不可以此為標準判定是否有藥物殘留。
