高雄燈會藝術節以「幸福雞立」為主題，愛河兩岸是主燈區，不但有傳統及創意燈區，今年新增宗教燈區，從中正路往北延伸到七賢路，將把多元色彩的寺廟熱鬧氣氛帶到愛河；2月11日元宵當天則有舉辦多年的萬人提燈大遊行。
