豬腳雖富含膠原以及蛋白質,但同時也富含飽和脂肪酸。文中提到「豬腳對消化道出血等失血性疾病有一定療效,並可改善全身的微循環,從而使冠心病和缺血性腦病得以改善。」這些在冠心症以及缺血性腦部疾病的相關治療以及預防指引中皆未被提及。老人家食用豬腳仍應適量,不應被特別鼓勵。
