教育局表示，為廣徵各方意見，學費補助政策已研擬多時，在公共化未達目標前之過渡階段期間，採取學費補助方案，減輕家長負擔，參照臺北市公立幼兒園、非營利幼兒園及私幼收費情形，階段性拉近公、私立幼兒園收費差距。

初步規劃設籍本市4歲幼兒，與父母雙方共同設籍本市1年以上，最近一年家戶綜合所得稅率未達20%，且就讀本市合法立案之私立幼兒園，領有學費補助，由原先每學期2,543元(一年計5,086元)之補助，提高至每學期13,660元(一生六六大順)方案，目前初步規劃以補助4歲幼兒每學期13,660元為原則，最快將於107學年度開始實施。
