純屬謠言一則，根據媒體採訪，警方查詢並沒有發現有判刑或報案紀錄，中華郵政也表示：這是流傳多年的網路謠言，沒發生過這樣的詐騙案。
律師林智群表示：假郵差或宅配讓你簽收，結果下面有複寫紙及本票或支票，理論上複寫紙簽名是不生簽名的法律效力。因為簽名當下是基於簽收郵件的想法，不是為了簽本票支票，所以當然不會產生簽名效力，請大家不用擔心。
