國內新冠疫情嚴峻，指揮中心19日宣布全國進入三級警戒。由於本土病例已經連續6日破百，外界也憂慮是否可能提升至四級警戒。對此，行政院發言人羅秉成表示，有準備心態是好的，但是不要引起恐慌，雖然目前疫情都是破百例，但是沒有出現一半以上找不到傳染鏈的條件。
