選罷法有規定每日早上 7 點前、晚上 10 點過後及投票日當天都不得從事競選活動。不過，若沒有妨礙到居民生活安寧，就不在限制範圍。因此，到投票日前日 23:59 前，「網路宣傳」仍可進行，但一到投票日 0 點，就不能再有競選行為。
