草悟廣場在官方臉書公告將在2020年11月1日結束營業，從2013年11月創立至今的草悟道遊客中心提前10月16日暫停服務，讓不少民眾相當不捨。台中市府觀旅局長林筱淇表示，目前已啟動招商，已有短租廠商願意接手，預計最快11月中就會重新營運，請民眾放心。
