疾管署今天表示，截至10月23日，全台接種400多萬劑流感疫苗中出現51例不良反應事件，其中有12例較嚴重，39例為非嚴重不良反應。疾管署表示，出現嚴重不良反應不一定和疫苗有因果關係。韓國近日出現接種流感疫苗後死亡案例，部分死者接種過台灣也有使用的法國賽諾菲流感疫苗，因此引發國人關注。疾病管制署發言

莊人祥表示，嚴重不良反應不一定和打疫苗有因果關係，可能只是兩者發生時間剛好相近。政府設有「全國藥物不良反應通報中心」，每週由專家團隊評估，瞭解嚴重及非嚴重不良反應分佈、疫苗品牌等等。
