純屬謠言說法一則，以花蓮事件為例，新聞方面並無相關「只捐款 30 萬」的消息，反倒是出現許多慈濟人投入慈善服務的新聞畫面和相關支援的消息，在災難現場和收容中心都看得到他們的身影，除了這些實際行動，光是發放關懷慰問金也已超過 350 萬元。
