高速公路通行費率並無調整之規劃，有關網傳將取消20公里優惠並改成一上高速公路就收50公里通行費之政策，高公局表示，純屬虛構之網路傳言。
高公局說明，目前實施之計程收費通行費率係採三段式之優惠費率，亦即車輛行駛每公里基本費率(小型車1.2元、大型車1.5元、聯結車1.8元)，同時搭配每車每日提供20公里優惠里程，以及行駛200公里以上之里程提供75折優惠之費率。另於連續假期期間實施之單一費率、提供差別費率及免費時段等方案，均係配合交通疏導之需要，於提報交通部核可後所採取之彈性費率措施。
