根據南加大流行病專家黃重德醫學博士的研究，新冠病毒患者用含有氯西丁（Chlorhexidine）成分的漱口水漱口，可以有效減少口中病毒數量，進而降低傳染風險。不過要注意的是，漱口水只能降低傳染風險，並不能改善症狀，如果真的覺得不舒服，還是要盡快就醫。
