新北市建築物總樓高5層樓以下老舊公寓、透天厝發生火災占住宅火災件數的68.5%，且經常造成人員傷亡，107年本市曾補助安裝使民眾倖免於「小火釀大禍」的成功案例15件。今(108)年度，本市將補助安裝6萬4,207戶(5層樓以下應設建築物總數10%)，並優先針對本市獨居長者、低收入戶及資源回收戶共2萬463戶弱勢家庭全面到府安裝，其餘提供一般民眾申請自主安裝。
