金管會鄭重否認。
金管會表示，有關兆豐銀行紐約分行受美國紐約州金融署裁罰一案，已於105年9月14日在該會網站公布對兆豐銀行及相關人員之調查及行政處分結果，並督促該行依規定將該案相關資訊對外揭露，並經該行多次對外說明。媒體相關敘述並非事實，特予澄清。

黃國昌表示，巴拿馬分行違反洗錢防制規定，屬於公開資訊，絕對不是機密，而這份公文內容，難道足以可依《國家機密保護法》第4條第3款：「洩漏後足以使國家安全或利益遭受損害之事項」的規定來核定機密嗎？
