對於被指出有民眾接種完高端後不幸身亡，高端也在今天下午3點多發出聲明（全文如下）：依據本日(8/24)中央疫情指揮中心記者會內容，截至8/23止，國內已施打高端疫苗約16.9萬劑，並出現一例民眾於施打後死亡案例。其死因是否與疫苗有關，仍待相關單位調查釐清。
