許多釣客為追求漁汛，違規闖入漁港禁止垂釣區，即常發生違規垂釣情事，甚至冒險攀爬消波塊去野柳漁港離岸堤紅燈塔處，但要到達此處，需爬過約60公尺長的銷波塊，且該防波堤高約2層樓，周邊又無護欄，一陣大浪來襲，釣客隨時可能失足落海。希望大家在安全有保障的情況下從事休閒垂釣活動，切莫輕忽海象狀況造成悲劇發生，也可避免觸法受罰，反而敗興而歸。
