小蘇達粉其實就是碳酸氫鈉粉，化學式是NaHCO3，NA是鈉帶正電，放到自來水裡面，會跟水中帶負電的氯結合變成氯化鈉，也就是鹽巴，這解決了自來水氯毒的問題。
