領務局因應國人對LINE通訊軟體高度使用情形，在104年5月成立LINE官方帳號，利用此一平台及時發送世界各國的旅遊警示，並且提供各類旅外安全資訊，廣受民眾歡迎，截至目前為止，已經突破110萬的下載人次，是中央政府機關創設的LINE官方帳號中，下載人數最高的帳號之一。
