網路上除了電視台為了行銷提供免費串流之外，「其他非法竊播電視臺訊號」，是違反著作權法92條公開傳輸罪，經由電視臺提告恐怕會有刑事責任。另外對於收視者，因為本身沒有重製或協助傳輸，目前鮮少看到民眾因為觀看而構成。還是建議網友不要轉傳這方面訊息。
