柯文哲說，過去確診個案數很少，這個作業的時間差造成中央公布時和當時的實際數字的差異不會太大。但疫情爆發後，指揮中心每天公布的數字，已無法反映疫情現況。再加上PCR檢體量大增、疫調過程塞車、採檢到公佈的時間差愈拉愈長，所謂校正回歸，只是反映現行制度無法真實反映快速變動的現況。
