巴拉圭屬於不承認一夫多妻制的國家（Countries that do not recognize polygamous marriages），目前也沒有消息指出巴拉圭未來會想承認一夫多妻的婚姻制度，所以內容農場網站說「這裡至今仍實行著一夫多妻制」是完全錯誤的，當然更不可能強制人民遵守一夫多妻制。
