正常來說，民眾會先進到「第一關」資格審核的頁面，符合資格者才會進到網傳頁面。
勞動部勞保局表示，網傳網頁確實為勞保局所設，提供自營作業者或無一定雇主之勞工申請生活補助，但此連結直接連到「符合資格」頁面，跳過第一頁的審核頁面，與正規流程不符。民眾若要申請，應從勞保局官網進入申請頁面，且符合資格者，才需提供銀行帳戶等個資。
