如果你在Gmail發現一封官方寄來的「祝賀信件」，別輕易的點開，你可能陷入新的網路釣魚手法。駭客最近又瞄準Gmail掀起新詐騙手法，不少人收到一封看似官方寄來的信件，主題寫的「在線獎勵計劃」，打開後，信件上會寫著「您剛剛在Google上進行了第182.5億次搜索，全球每達到1,000萬次搜索，我們將選出一名幸運用戶送出感謝禮物，恭喜！您是幸運的Google用戶！」信件下方會有老掉牙的領取獎品連結以

Google不會發送類似"贏得了一份禮物，並要求回答幾個問題來領取禮物"的信件，也提醒小心彈出式廣告。Google同時教戰三原則來避免陷阱，包括慢、檢查、不要發送，Google表示，收到任何可疑信件都請先慢下來，不要急於點開，謹慎檢查來源，以及不要隨意發送個人資料。
