這件事情不是發生在台灣，也不建議網路上訂購口罩。之前有泰國警方破獲黑心回收場，發現有人將回收得來的二手口罩，以洗衣機清洗再熨平「翻新」後，重新包裝轉售。檢查方式可以透過檢查口罩或耳繩有沒有「皺褶」，最重要的就是摸摸看口罩上緣的鐵絲，中間鼻樑位置有沒有微凹感或是被扭曲不平整。
