台中市政府社會局的衛教資訊問答中就指出，含氯漂白水會影響化糞池功能，建議不要倒入馬桶。而彰化縣衛生局在彰化縣政府本月初的一場記者會中表示，稀釋漂白水直接倒入馬桶可能會使化糞池失去污水處理的效果，建議把稀釋漂白水倒入戶外水溝，或是廚房污水道，才不會污染水源。
