蔡政府前年開放含萊克多巴胺的美國豬肉進口，此後美豬流向一直是大眾焦點，而美豬年進口達上千噸，消基會5月抽樣市場通路中289件含豬肉食品，始終未發現美豬存在，知情業者阿國（化名）則透露，目前市面上充斥假羊肉，這些羊肉是用美國豬肉偽裝而成，讓多數民眾「聞豬色變」的美豬如今改頭換面出現在大眾的餐桌上。

新北市衛生局回應，現已接獲民眾陳情，將派員前往該市場之攤商查核，後續倘查有不實之情事，可依違反食品安全衛生管理法第28條第1項規定，處新臺幣4萬元以上400萬元以下之罰鍰。
