仍要小心的是會因為存放的方式有差異,包裝食品多半會註明「保存方法」,強調要依照保存方法才能夠在有效期限內維持食品的品質,而消費者在存放食品時,也應該要考量家中的儲存條件是否合適。對於已經過期的食品,一般民眾多半都是看外觀是否有腐壞、品嚐是否有異味等「感官品評」方式來判斷是否還能食用。
