據行政院原子能委員會說明，日本福島第一核電廠含氚廢水，於8/24中午開始排放入海，黑鮪魚大型魚類，屬食物鏈較高層，會吸收不同汙染物，底棲性魚類因海床泥土易有汙染物沉澱，貝蚌類則是會過濾水中有機物，因此暫不建議食用，避免對人體有害。
