飛指部原為｢國防部參謀本部防空飛彈指揮部｣，移編空軍後將改為「國防部空軍司令部防空飛彈指揮部」，這也是飛指部第4度因組織調整而移編。原指揮官謝嘉康少將已於今年1月調任陸軍馬祖防衛指揮部副指揮官，並由陸軍砲訓部暨飛彈砲兵學校副指揮官、空軍出身的游仁明上校接任。
